B2B Sales Executive

With plans to launch the Forbes brand in Australia in Q3 of 2022, Forbes Australia is looking for a Sales Development Executive to execute on our vision to convene, curate and cover the most prominent players within our nation’s business landscape.
The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated sales specialist looking to build on their C- Suite and Executive networks in this B2B focused role working in an iconic global brand’s Consumer Sales division. This role is focused on the front end of the sales cycle specifically in Event Experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and convert new revenue opportunities through referrals, in house marketing and alternative marketing platforms.
- Achieve monthly revenue targets
- Achieve event specific volume targets
- Up & cross sell across key accounts in order to develop new revenue opportunities
- Network and assist clients at live events
- Build long-term mutually beneficial relationships with C-suite / key decision makers.
- Source sales leads & build partnerships through own research & utilisation of CRM
- Ensure each attendee receives value far exceeding their investment that they become repeat attendees
- Stay up to date with market trends to ensure marketing & product offerings are consistent with the Forbes ethos.

The Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience in a B2B sales environment with thorough understanding of sales strategies and sales processes with consultative style of approach.
- A track record of meeting/exceeding sales targets
- Passionate about the brand you represent and competent at both business development and account management
- Demonstrated network and an ability to influence C-suite decision makers
- Excellent written and verbal communication ability
- Experience within a media company will be highly regarded
Forbes Australia’s head office is a creative space in Pyrmont and offers employees the flexibility required to be successful. To ensure an effective and efficient onboarding process and cultural integration, the role will initially be office based with the intention of migrating to Hybrid in the short to medium term.
